More Creatures Than People

I forgot to post about my latest find in the backyard... a lovely snake. Yes, a frog in my kitchen and a snake by my fountain. I tried to take a photo but the camera was on the wrong setting- darn. But I looked it up, and it was a King snake, which is better than some, Kelt says. I think what we really need out there is a hawk...

Kelt says our backyard is turning into a zoo... today we found a mother quail and about ten of her babies gagling around. I took this of a few of them...
