Museum Of Ancient Life

Vacation day one!  We had a great time at the Museum Of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point!  The kids both love dinosaurs, especially Drake-a-saurus!

Natalie Graduated!

There really are no words for how I feel on this occasion.  Such pride, joy, elation...and this is only kindergarten!  I don't even want to see myself at her high school graduation or her wedding!

Kelton and I are SO proud of our little girl!  This year flew by in a flurry of bus rides, snack calendars, and spelling tests (she got 100 percent on all but one!).  And we can't wait to start the first grade adventure!

Zion 5/2011

We took a little trip to Zion on Saturday and had a lovely picnic by the river.  Then we took a drive through the tunnels, took a ride on the shuttle, and did a little hike...

Natalie's Going Krasey!

Last week in kindergarten, Natalie and her class learned about springtime and plants.  She brought this home for me, and I put it by the sink.  I like his smiling face in the morning...

She also brought her plant journal home, where they documented the stages of the growing grass.  This last entrty was supposed to describe how her plant was progressing...

although I'm sure she mean her "grass is going crazy"...she put "gass"!  Kelt and I could not stop laughing!  Oh, kids and their krasey gass!!

Natalie's 6th Birthday Party!

We had Natalie's Princess Peach birthday party yesterday!

I had to make the pinata myself because there were none that matched our theme, and you know how I feel about that! And hopefully this is the last cake I'll have to pick up from the bakery-I'm going to take the cake classes at Robert's and make my own from now on!
