Drake's First Day of Preschool!
Today Drake started preschool!
Drake and his teacher, Mrs. Frank...
Picking his name out...
checking in!! He's so excited to have something to do during the day since Natalie is in school and we don't live in a neighborhood swarming with kids anymore!

I've Been Busy
Yesterday Natalie's school held it's annual Raptor Romp. All the grades do a little dance and they sell pizza and goodies. The lines and prices were ridiculous, but her dance was adorable! They boogied to "Life is a Highway"
here she is with her shades on!
I've also been painting and decorating...
Robert said he'll paint the house for me, but I want to do my part, which is about 5 feet and three inches high...
I also finished a little project I've been working on...the frames instead of a headboard!

Instead of a huge post, I thought I'd put pictures on of the rooms in the new house as they are slowly de-cluttered and put into some sense of normalcy...

master closet (missing a lot of Kelt's clothes)
master bedroom
guest bath
living room
kitchen
dining room
back yard
kid's bathroom
guest room...just kidding! Storage room!

Things The Kids Say
I thought I'd post about some funny things the kids have been saying lately...
When we told Natalie she'd have to switch schools when we move, instead of being concerned about new a new teacher and friends, she says "ugh! Do I have to start kindergarten ALL over again?!"
I've been trying to buy organic fruits and veggies, which Harmon's has a larger selection of. Their carrots have the green stems still on them, which Drake loves. The other day we were driving around when he asked "mom, can we go to Harmon's and get some real Bugs Bunny carrots?"
For the past few weeks, Drake has been on a real privacy kick. He wants to get dressed in his room, he wants to take his own bath, etc. So the other night he was getting ready to take his bath when he called me to come turn his water on. He thought I hadn't heard him, so he came running into the living room buck naked, holding an 8 x 10 photo over his booty and the light-up moon Robert and Palma gave him for his birthday over his boy parts so no one would see him in the nude!
The other day I bought a sack of marshmallows for treats. The kids have been driving me crazy asking for them incessantly, so last night I put the sack in my room- out of sight, out of mind, right? Right. Today, Drake wanted to play outside. I told him he had to get dressed. He didn't want to and went off to his room to sulk instead. A minute later I heard him wandering from room to room crying for Kelton. This is what I heard next:
"Daaaaddy! Daaaaaaddy! Daaaad- oh, marshmallows!"
