Begas Vacation!

We took a little vacation to Vegas (which the kids have been calling Begas) to celebrate Kelton's return home...

we went to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay

parenting tip: your kids will act great ANYWHERE you go, as long as you take bubbles...

they loved the escalators, asking specifically to ride them for no reason whatsoever

we also saw the lions at MGM Grand

we pet the stingrays...some of us were a little skiddish (see below)

we came home today and welcomed the newest member of our family, Eight! He's a lab/shepherd mix we adopted from the HART foundation, and he's awesome!

Halloween 2011!

What a fun year!! Unfortunately, Kelt is still in SC, so he wasn't able to eat the kids' candy like I'm doing as I write this post!

Super Saturday

What a fun day! Kylen, Adrienne, their girls, Kody, Robert, and my two kiddos had lunch at the Pasta Factory and then spent a while at...

Drake's First Day of Preschool!

I've Been Busy

Yesterday Natalie's school held it's annual Raptor Romp.  All the grades do a little dance and they sell pizza and goodies.  The lines and prices were ridiculous, but her dance was adorable!  They boogied to "Life is a Highway"

 I've also been painting and decorating...

 Robert said he'll paint the house for me, but I want to do my part, which is about 5 feet and three inches high...

 I also finished a little project I've been working on...the frames instead of a headboard!
