Natalie's Funny Phrases

Natalie has been saying some hilarious things lately...

"Mom, can I have one of your chocolates?"
"No, because Dad gave them to me and they're special"
"But that's not fair"
"Well, hon, life isn't fair"
As she skips out of the room: "My life is fair...except when you don't give me things"

"Can we have some oranges?"
"Sure, but wash your hands first. I know you two were out there playing in the dirt"
"How do you know?"
"I know everything"
"Did you know there was a bomb in space?"
"No..."
"Ha-ha! Then you don't know everything!"

Natalie's First Grade Patriotic Program

This afternoon, Natalie's class held a Patriotic Program...

I got several videos, which is good, because my photos didn't turn out so hot...she was not smiling in most of the better shots, and smiling in almost all of the ones with kids in front or that turned out blurry...

it was an ADORABLE program, though, and now Kelt and I know why she's been singing "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" in the bathtub!

I got a new phone and wanted to post all the pictures from the old one so they wouldn't be lost...

Drake wears his costume EVERYWHRE, even my ob/gyn's office!

One night Allie and I were playing the Wii together. I won, so Natalie drew this picture for Allie...it's me telling my sister "in your face" with 12 million points. Showed her, haha!

We went to Lowe's, and Drake had to go to the restroom, but didn't want me to go in with him, so I waited outside the door.  The door wasn't locked, and a man walked in on him before I could stop him.  I quickly checked on him to make sure he was okay...this is what I saw...

This is a National Guard air freshener to hang in your car...or around your neck.  He smelled great for hours!

One night, after his bath, Drake asked for some noodles for a snack.  I told him to get his jammies on while I made them.  Instead, he played for a while and then found the noodles I'd set out on the table for him.  He ate them naked.

Molly's Big Day

Today Allie and I decided on a whim that it was a great day for big, three-year-old Molly to get her ears pierced.  So off we went to Claire's...
