Family Vacay 2012!

What an awesome vacation!

Day one was Cowabunga Bay...

it was a little overcast, and the water was a little chilly, but the kids still had a blast on the big slides...

and Lydie looked too cute in her little suit!

Day two was Lagoon...

Kelt took the kids on the more thrilling rides (I'm no fan of roller coasters).

And Lydie K took a nap in her stoller...

Day three was the Hogle Zoo...

this polar bear was so rad! He would swim down to this rock,

push off,

swim across,

come up for air,

then swim backward and do it all over again.

 The elephants were awesome, too.  They were getting a hose down from the heat, and they were LOVING it!

 the baby was beyond adorable, playing with the balls and in the mud...

Drake's Fifth Birthday Party

Our little dude turned five! We celebrated with a jungle theme party...

 The cake...buttercream with fondant monkeys and gumpaste flowers.

 I bought the crate new at Michael's and aged the wood for a vintage feel.

 It's a jungle in here!

Happy Fourth!

Kanab

Kelt got put on orders to go to Kanab, but we got to go with him this time due to the holiday!

We visited Moqui cave:

 and the Little Hollywood museum:

We had a great trip, and it was so nice to go out of town with Kelt insead of just waving goodbye!
